Telecom Networks - Data Issues Faced by Public

2G not available in many networks to make us buy 3G packs. Under Edge, GPRS currently many private networks internet does not work primarily to make us use 3G. Only if 2G penetrates to rural areas will 3G pick up
Many 3G packs complete out fast or download limit gets over without letting us know which website or URL we used for the data usage. They should have account for prepaid and make us know what they charged us for and which websites we used. There is something happening and suddenly that pack/data limit got over.
Alerts are not given to us when limits or any of the so many packs which they make us to buy get over. If pack gets over then they should compulsorily alert us before end of data limit, free call limit or SMS limit. Until we send SMS to say don’t send alerts with criteria's like remind after 5 days like that. They make us put packs but don’t remind us or tell if packs got over as they have so many codes to check and we get charged suddenly to our talk time
3G signals are shared between Idea and Vodafone in TamilNadu and a person can register in the other network to use 3G. How was this allowed the whole concept of spectrum allocation is wasted. The blindly they took out most of the competition by anti – competitive practices simply to grow and partner amongst themselves
Telecom operators not serious when we complaint about 3G not available at certain work location. Work location is where we are most of the day and if no internet or signal at office then what is the point of data pack. Govt must force TRAI to pass regulation that any network company should be allowed to setup network boosters in offices except if police or security risk of national level or defence forces deny or legal action against the building which does not allow network boosters be done.
Internet during train travel and bus travel at more than 50kmph does not work. During travel if we cant use then what is the use. Either BSNL-Railways joint venture must be formed for internet on trains and put 1GB at Rs.30 for those who travel more than 6 hours will benefit.
Data packs outside India are very costly and only mode of connectivity when are in international roaming as tourists or business needs. But data packs in international roaming are impossible to purchase by anyone at high rates. Govt and TRAI and Indian mobile networks should work out ways to enable data connectivity outside India.
