RTI Reforms & new easier PIL filing procedure for public more powerful than RTI

RTI bill must be updated or internally Central Govt must ask departments which come under RTI to update top 25 requests repeatedly in it’s website under the title “Frequent RTI”. This will help departments and public save time and track instead of unwanted RTI applications.
Govt must ask departments to reply directly online through website instead of sending letters. The online reply currently is like printing in paper and then scanning to upload in website which seems too bad process. Instead option in website to enter data in box and upload directly will save paper and time. Also will help reply within deadline and save cost involved in postage. The rtionline.gov.in must be updated to provide the team to reply online by the concerned department.
The current option to scan and upload in website is also not done by all departments.
The second appeal process must be made simple with option in existing website rtionline.gov.in to file RTI online. The second appeal if integrated in this website itself will help the concerned team view the initial application and first appeal details for the request to avoid the filing process for the RTI filer. Currently 2nd appeal is in separate website and the process is bit complex preventing many genuine help seekers from filing the details. The 2nd appeal must be simplified to lowest level for easier filing and getting action taken. The public need not know the RTI law by heart but commission should help even if common people reach out for help
Many of the RTI filed are sent out to multiple departments with sub requests but whenever it is sent to multiple PIO the reply is too delayed.
The existing rtionline.gov.in website must give option to file RTI in major regional languages. The concerned department can translate online using free tools.
The rti.india.gov.in website gives complete address of all RTI filer’s for each department. It is not safe anyone can be targeted with that data. This is not fair. It gives complete address, mobile number and email id.
Govt should setup a team within CIC to help uneducated file the RTI appeals with ease instead of going to private website or people who charge high rates. The Govt should request CIC to setup team to help people ask queries through email and number to help file applications and appeals of 1st and 2nd. The team should clarify on procedures and steps involved with sample documents.
The payment option online of all major banks must be allowed currently only SBI is allowed. Please add major private banks in India like ICICI, Axis, HDFC and kotak with both internet banking and debit/credit cards.
Adding RTI procedures and grievance redressal mechanisms of central govt like PMO portal and PGPORTAL with website url, details must printed in last page of all school & university books of CBSE, request state govt's, govt universities. The next generation must take up issues and fix it not spectator.
In lines of RTI, Central Govt must create easier process to file PIL online in all high courts and supreme courts with ease by online and without public appearance for hearing without need for hiring lawyer. Or independent law committee must be formed to help public file PIL in courts with ease with free or charge or less charge. RTI gives powers to solve personal issues and minor govt issues but filing PIL will give major power. I think the experts with govt in law like Arun Jaitley will be of great help. The current process of filing PIL is limited to lawyers and public are not much aware and easily cant approach courts for basic facilities and to bring in new reforms in Govt across the board. This will be win-win for Govt and public. Govt's may be restricted due to political compulsions but public can file PIL to get the same enforced through courts.

Railways - Sale of ATVM Cards, High speed trains between chennai to trichy

Need for availability of ATVM cards or renamed as Rail Smart Card A) ATVM cards are currently not used by suburban commuters in the ATVM machine since card is not available with public and they stand in line to buy tickets. B) Give free ATVM cards for those who travelled more than 1000 kms by booking in IRCTC website or at reduce price to order online and delivered at their home C) The ATVM will come handy for those who don’t use the UTS app to book tickets D) Regular travellers who go in unreserved or in suburban will benefit E) Give free ATVM cards to all SC/ST/students-school, college, post-graduate/BPL by filling form. Card wont cost much. If you cant give free cards partner with any bank to give ATVM cards to use as multi-wallet card
If premier trains are profitable for Railways. Railways must consider giving 3% seats or percentage less than tatkal in all trains at premier fare with booking opening 10 days in advance at least in A/c coaches in trial. If 3% doesn’t get filled then must be opened for tatkal on day before. Must abolish concept of premium trains in routes where even half train is empty and run those trains as normal trains with 30% percentage of seats under premium ticket. So will help middle class also get seats, railways can earn from premium tickets and tatkal tickets. Will reduce anger of passengers to some extent on the high prices of premium trains and empty running of trains. So the half empty also gets filed partially with normal tickets and partial with premium tickets for you so double profit in premium trains which run empty.
Trains with long distance say more than 24 hours must have vending machines by selecting operators after demo of models and possible position in train without disturbing passengers. IRCTC can also operate to earn revenue especially long distance trains and trains which run in day time for shorter duration in hot climate. Example: Pallavan express from Chennai to trichy in TamilNadu
Need for gatimaan express between Chennai – Madurai, Chennai – Bangalore, Bangalore – Hyderabad, Chennai to Hyderabad with same facilities in Agra – Delhi.
Need for sliding doors urgently in all suburban services even in Non A/C to reduce loss of life due to over crowding
Need to remove GPS logic for booking tickets in UTS app. GPS logic prevents booking tickets once crossed entry gate of station. I tried exactly near booking counter but didn’t allow. Even a person without ticket needs to reach booking counter to book tickets then how come UTS GPS logic works this way.
Ads inside the Suburban trains as visual ads will give lot of revenue like TV.
Need for A/C suburban in Chennai division.
Pending Tirumalpur to Arakkonam stuck due to Ministry of Defence – Navy and Railways for some issues. Pls work out to fix and start project will help complete connectivity in Chennai which is stuck for decades now. It is just 8 kms but not completed and electrified.
Contract to Japan or China or Germany for bullet train in Chennai – Bangalore – Mysore section.
150-200km speed operation in Chennai to Trichy division since it is feasible as less no of turns. With Gatimaan concept.
Chennai to Hyderabad gatimaan concept with sleeper facilities. A reduction of 3 hours in travel time will benefit with increase in speed.

Major Reforms Wish List - ATM in schools, pension to all sports persons represented India, Animation & graphics institute

ATM in all schools (state govt, CBSE, KV), colleges and university campus across the country. The placement of ATM if possible money deposit machines near compound will help both public and students use. If ATM are placed in campus of educational institutes the next generation from young age will be part of financial inclusion irrespective of urban or rural areas. Govt can allot 250 crores for this for schools/colleges irrespective of state or central Govt in rural areas, tier3/4.
Big Data Analytics & IoT to be used in IRCTC & Railways to project demand for trains and use sensors in various operation. Global software firms should give presentations to Railway staff to understand benefits. It will take at least 6 months for Railways to understand the usage and benefits completely.
Use of ticket checking devices before exiting and entering platforms in railway stations. Will reduce ticket less travel in Railways especially in states like UP, Maharashtra, Bihar. Many trains in north India many ticketless travellers go in reserved compartments but Railways wantedly ignored. RPF not deployed along with ticket checkers in railway stations in north India shows the mind set of Railway staff
Setting up of Animation, Graphics, Special Effects and Make Up Institute of India to generate jobs for skilled artists and jobs in lakhs for a billion dollar industry untapped by India at 2 locations in India especially Bollywood and kollywood which release a film every Friday.
AIIMS is yet to be setup in TamilNadu as announced in last year budget. Please work closely with TN chief secretary by video conferencing to get land and start work. There is land available and identified by TN Govt earlier in Thanjavur – Trichy highways. Don’t blame each other for delay just complete. If PM writes letter to TN CM matter will be cleared in 1 month. The position at this location is it will benefit farmers of delta region and Trichy is central location of TN with trains from all parts of TamilNadu and India
Pension to all sports person who represent India in any sports tournament. If they don’t have any means of income it is responsibility of Indian Govt to give them some form of pension to protect their future since in their youth they have contributed to their country. Some sportsperson may have jobs in Govt or private company but pension must be ensured. The current method of giving pension to only Olympic medallists against the spirit of the country. All participants and representing India should be given pension as they represented country. Currently there is shortage of people interested to represent India in tournaments as we don’t qualify to global standards. At least few are putting their full effort irrespective winning medals or not. Pension should be given
Availability of bio-diesel  & CNG in all fuel stations across the country through government public sector oil companies like India Oil, Hindustan Petroleum, Bharat Petroleum is more than enough to cover entire country. If these 3 companies setup bio-diesel in all fuel stations at price less than diesel by Rs.10 it will help save cost on fuel import. The state transportation departments, lorries/trucks, trains will benefit in long run. The saving of Rs.10 per litre will transform to saving several billions to transform Railways, Highways, Agriculture, Education in form of saving of around 100 billion over 5 years. Bio-diesel plants owned and operated by refineries and these petroleum companies entirely owned by govt will further reduce cost and give Agriculture a major boost. Farmers will directly benefit since sugarcane and other plants also enable the same.
Central Govt for the smart cities mission must do following: 1. All ambulances irrespective of private or public sector or 108 must be enabled with GPS to track position. All traffic signals in cities must turn smart when an ambulance approaches it must turn to green to allow movement of ambulance. Just an electronics equipment needed to be attached to existing signal to achieve this. 2. Smart cities programme needs to use sensors in all cities to capture level of pollution and in turn takes steps independently for each location to reduce pollution. Pollution is the major concern in all cities across India 3. Lack of public transport like metros to all part of cities leads to public using own vehicles and increases pollution 4. Lack of CNG buses in other parts of India other than Delhi is a major concern since the pollution levels of other cities might beat levels of Delhi if not taken action. Central Govt must consider giving 50 crores per state to procure CNG operated buses and availability of fuel. 5. Battery operated buses will be the future but if no proactive steps taken now then future is a question mark. Central Govt procuring and giving battery operated buses will also help 6. Need for cameras on top of all major signals, junctions to track vehicle movement 7. All speed violations and traffic signal violations must be fined to number plate directly similar to Singapore by making RFID number plate compulsory for future manufacturers of all types of vehicles and existing conversion by April 2017. Every parking charges are made in Singapore by automatic systems 8. Only police in all states becomes smart only then can a city turn smart. Installation of cameras on top of all police vehicles, giving latest weapons with laser pointed guns, latest gadgets to track down bad elements in cities. Reducing walkie-talkie usage to modern methods, giving electric charged sticks instead of wooden sticks to fight criminals 9. Give LED streetlights at subsidised rate to all state Govt directly irrespective of BJP ruled or non BJP ruled. Power ministry officials must take list of all major district capitals across India and work with lower level officials to give them LED streetlights to save electricity. LED streetlights if they replace the mercury bulbs will save electricity considerably. China attaches solar panels to LED streetlights to further save electricity

Issues in Tamil Nadu for decades & One time Solutions

Jallikattu event in Tamil Nadu was banned by SC. The ordinance for the same was considered by the Central govt and dropped in last minute. The event is associated with rural Tamil Nadu and is very close to their tradition. The people cannot fully accept that as animal cruelty. The ordinance to allow the event will be much appreciated. Central Govt had backed out suddenly last time but must consider all steps to renew it instead of taking up issue at last minute in January when the festival takes place. It is not animal cruelty since the man is only risking his life and wants to show his bravery. The animal as strong as it is. The size of the animal is twice as that of human being and the weight is more than double so the animal will feel no pain. The govt must consider the ordinance it will have huge positive political ramifications. No press release that your are considering but keep as a surprise move to pass ordinance through cabinet. It was Prakash javedkar’s  & TN people dream to get it done at least for him please pass it.
Adding of fishermen in ST/SC community in India. Those fishermen who want to be part of ST if produced required documents can be made a part of the SC community with state govt verification of documents. Fishermen have brought in revenue to Govt by toiling hard and None of the cabinet minister will know how difficult it is too be in sea.
The Srilanka govt apprehension on various issues like use of specific type of boats, fishermen nets by Indian fishermen must be looked into my mutual committee formed as combination of both sides, with state and central govt representations. The committee formed must work non-stop with a meeting every 2 weeks held alternatively in both India and Srilanka. The committee should have representation of fishermen from both sides, state govt and central govt fishery department, external affairs team, navy from both sides. Without a proper committee it wont work out a solution amicable for both. Going to UN or any international body will affect our relationships in long run and creation of a new enemy. Only 2 or 3 meetings were done by earlier setup committee by TN govt and then no work moved since it brought out truths on both sides and their real problems. The political setup in India and Sri lanka did not want to bring out the truths of both sides.
Indian Govt must work with Srilanka govt to make the seas of both India and Srilanka supportive for fishing or work out a amicable solution especially the areas close to Indian borders. Since the coast line of India and Sri lanka are very close to each other less than 150 nautical miles or less than 2 hour travelling by boat from Rameswaram or Nagapattinam or Karaikal. For helping our fishermen get better livelihood as it is entirely dependent on fishing. Trying to get back Katchatheevu from Srilankan govt will be a good move, the central govt comes forward with working with state govt will help. Katchatheevu was given by India earlier to them but their setting up major Naval base.
Why has Indian Govt not deployed enough Indian navy across the border with Sri lanka raises serious questions on the intent of the central govt in protecting our fishermen. You are building aircraft carrier but we don’t have coast guard boats, high speed boats to protect our fishermen from sri Lankan navy is astonishing. Is Indian Navy afraid of Srilanka navy or is there any under current dealing with both Govt's to ignore the moves. The Indian navy has being saying for years the coast guard ships construction is going on and on. The intent & slow work not in favour of India.
Indian Govt should seriously consider not giving coast guard boats to Srilanka navy since their only neighbour is India. So they use the boats against India only. It wont be wise to give our neighbour a device to target us itself. It will be bad move and later don’t repent after decades, we cant get back the boats also. They use the boats to damage our fishermen boats by slamming on sides of the boats leading to water entering the boats. The fishermen have to swim for at least 4 to 5 hours to reach nearest boat or sea shore.  And for heaven sake don’t sell Brahmos to Sri Lanka or any country 3000 kms radius. If you want to sell Brahmos please discuss in parliament in democracy everything is not done by executive powers same in the case of FDI. If we sell our best missile now it will be used in future against India. May be postpone for sale after 5 years not now.
Why is central Govt delaying setup up of Cauvery Management Board and Cauvery Water Regulation Board? SC has asked to setup right? For board setup what is the difficulty. Karnataka has enough water and they waste water by cultivating sugarcane only. With so much water throughout the year they could have cultivated pulses/rice also which use less water. Their farmers are ignorant. In case of TN Cauvery helps the growing of crops in several districts even if that is lost then the region will become desert.
Fuel must be removed from GST. State govt will lose major chunk of revenue and will have to beg central govt for any funds or to start new initiatives or give salary also.
Modification of Kochi – Bengaluru GAIL pipeline along highways for heaven sake. The project first destroyed existing plantation. The leaks at times also further destroy permanently many examples are there. Even though officials might try to resolve once it leaks it can no more be used. What is the issue laying along Highways. No loss to GAIL
The central govt has announced several schemes for irrigation and funds in Pro farmer Financial budget. The central govt must immediately release 300 crores for Athikadavu – Avinashi scheme immediately which TN farmers have been demanding the project with funds for irrigation allotted in budget. And support with further funds in future with a cap of maximum 500 crores over a period of 3 years to speed up. A major river interlinking project  will go for decades into history that PM and current govt has approved. After British left India a major project which farmers demanded and TN Govt for lack of funds has put on hold. Please clear project & verify your sources on the positive impact. Not even one river interlinking has been done in TN successfully till now. It will be first baby steps hope Central Govt & Finance ministry will approve.

TRAI reforms

TRAI must be really mad to impose jail terms on call drop issue. Jail term can in turn be used on mobile companies security division heads if they tap phones illegally without a FIR or permission of security agencies or HMO. Only Airtel follows correct procedures but my internal investigation reveal most company employees tap phones to help friends, girl friend issues, etc,. For non sensitive issues also.
How wisely now TRAI is acting? TRAI sat like a lame duck when the case was going on in Supreme Court when there was so much scope to prove with data that it exceeded the 2% limit. Never wanted to help or protect people. But was hand in glove with telecom companies by liquidating the case. May be if TRAI was honest there are sure doubts on the intentions of Telecom ministry on this issue of call drop. Either you act or ignore. But don’t do the tamasha of trying to act and faking. People are not stupid. RS prasad is a senior SC lawyer had he intervened definitely you could have won case and avoided unwanted going to parliament to pass bills.
The TRAI must pass bill with following features a) Setting up of ombudsman above the telecom operator. If the complaint raised are not satisfactory within 20 days of complaint raised. The ombudsman must help solve issues faster and give compensation to customer in case of serious complaints. Currently TRAI in its website for grievance redressal mechanism has details of telcom operators clearly showing TRAI knowledge. People come to TRAI because telecom operator has not been able to solve issue. The fine limit on telecom operators must be up to 10 crores. b) Telecom operators must create a single workflow through online and offline to raise complaints on any issue. If first level is not satisfactory 2nd level must be initiated if users is not happy c) No operator must charge customer in the name of installation charge before giving connection. The installation charge must be collected only in 1st month bill. Many take installation charge and delay. Public has to go beyond these guys d) Public must be given 30 days chance after taking a broadband connection to return the connection with no charges taken as trial if the service provided was not of satisfactory levels. Why should people get stuck with one guy and pay 5,000 for a new connection inclusive of installation charge, first month bill, device cost e) Ask telecom companies which install broadband, WI-FI which are statically located to allow users to be given option to pay installation charge over a period of up to 24 months, allow to split up cost of device cost up to 24 months from date of installation or start of billing cycle
TRAI has not clearly given a procedure to switch from one DTH operator to another similar to SIM card without cost not exceeding Rs.250. The set top box options to upgrade existing DTH box, use existing dish. The option to switch DTH operators will force DTH operators to reduce cost. Currently they charge a hefty fee. For instance just to add a channel to watch IPL they charge around Rs.50. This is like day time robbery. Pls work to enable portability in DTH. The DTH operators just to make profit loot people year on year by raising rates. HD charges are the new looting mechanism. I hope even TRAI officials are aware since their family members would have analysed. But this also seem hand in glove with DTH operators
TRAI must setup ombudsman with powers to fine operators in case of issues. Take pro active action to prevent issue in future. The reach to ombudsman must be free of cost for redressal in 30 days and tatkal scheme at Rs.25 for redressal in 2 weeks. The fine on operators must be limited to 2 crores for any violations.
TRAI must get powers by bill from parliament to set 2% as call drop limit per circle instead of entire country or entire state. The circle must be valued more for the call drop calculation. The 2% violation must enable TRAI to fine up to 20 crores. Every 3 months TRAI must submit data online to public in TRAI website to check data. The same must be used fine every 3 months per circle done in random fashion.
TRAI has not done any major tests in south india for the call drop issue. Please visit Chennai, Trichy, Thanjavur, Bangalore, Hyderabad.
TRAI must prevent operators from taking amount before giving installation. People have to run behind them to refund amount.

Issue with jobs need to be fixed especially private sector (Labour Ministry) by ordinance or bill in parliament – Fixing notice period as 30 days after quitting any organisation in private or Govt job, Job seekers are asked to sign bond to work for 2 years or pay bond in lakhs (Bonded labour must be removed), After giving offer letter if organisation takes back it has to pay the job seekers 12 months basic pay as fine

Govt must ask labour ministry and law ministry to work out solutions by passing bill in parliament or executive order or ordinance for following issues faced by job seekers and after employment. The below issue is not normal matter but at least 50% of the employees in India face this issue and new jobs seekers and youth are most affected. So serious introspection needed.
Make all Govt and non –Govt (private companies) to set notice period for quitting any organisation to 30 days maximum. Currently some companies set the notice period as 60 or 90 days internally which leads to lot of issues for job seekers. A) For example a person gets Govt job but needs to join in 30 days but the organisation he is currently working has notice period of 60 days. Then he wont be able to join the Govt job. Hope you understand the seriousness of the issue. B) Since if the person does not complete the notice period of 60 days the employer wont give experience certificate. Having high notice period is like forcefully holding an employee and preventing him/her from trying new opportunities for himself and countries growth. C) Employer cant tie any one to a particular company by creating internal rules which Govt has been mute spectator. The solution is setting the maximum notice period duration as 30 days for govt or private organisation in India for quitting organisation. If you are not able to below suggestions at least this point to make notice period maximum duration as 30 days. Within 30 days any employee can train the next employee and give KT(Knowledge transfer) for work to continue. But to purposefully prevent new opportunities organisations increased notice period to 60 or 90 days
Some employers don’t provide buy out option for notice period by paying the basic salary so that the employee need not serve the notice period. So Govt must create a rule that any one quitting any organisation by paying basic salary for 30 days can quit immediately and the necessary experience certificate must be issued to the employee with no conditions. Solution is setting 30 days as maximum notice period but option to buy out must be provided to pay basic salary to go before 30 days also with basic salary per month/no of working days. Please analyse but job seekers and currently in job need this option especially in private sector.
Any person who has been given an offer letter or intent of job must be absorbed by the organisation within 3 months maximum. If the organisation fails to comply with this rule then the organisation needs to pay 12 months basic salary as fine. Since many organisation like L&T Infotech which gave employment to several students but finally conducted one test and said all failed. Many IT companies like Infosys and L&T Infotech fire employees within 3 months of joining in training period by conducting very tough tests which even an experienced can also not pass.
The first one year of any job given to an employee must be considered as training period. Since it takes at least one year for a person to be skilled in the given job. So no one can fire any employee in training period that is one year at any cost or his employee must not be reduced. It is the role of the organisation to train the person to up skill and get himself trained. Companies cannot fix training period on their own but 1 year must be made as training period for all organisation as minimum period and no firing in this duration at any cost.
Govt in the rule book must state that all employees who newly joined an organisation cant be fired within 6 months of joining the firm at any cost. If any one is fired then the company must pay fine of 1 year basic pay as salary to affected person. So all organisations which have hired new resources cannot be fired within 1 year of hiring at any cost. Modi said to US media there is no Hire And Fire in India but it is very prevalent in Indian private organisation a new culture which has not shown its head above because corporate control media and news never leaks.
Organisations put bond on job seekers to serve the organisation for definite period. India is not more a bonded labour market are job seekers slaves. In bond IT companies ask for bond for 2 year or pay in lakhs if bond is broken for the employee to go for higher studies or go to another job. Govt has been silent spectator on this serious issue due to corporate pressure. Ask all companies to stop the bond agreement for new job seekers and joiners

Railways - Suggestions - Tatkal System, Change tatkal booking to 3 days from current 1 day before, DEMU trains in partially electrified routes, 4 premium tatkal seats per compartment in 3A/C coaches opened 14 days before, EQ tickets at tatkal fare diff paid to TT, More trains from Shirdi to Mumbai/Pune

RPF generally avoid travelling in unreserved coaches or the coach next to unreserved coaches to help public board train and control crowd. Most people sit near door itself leading to passengers in forth coming stations not able to enter. Even TT cannot enter unreserved coaches to check tickets. Clearly showing the lack of intent of Railway staff to find solutions. Make Railway staff stand at station platforms to check the ticket details once they get down from unreserved coaches. Run fully unreserved trains at peak hours to fulfill demand.

It is high time new unreserved coaches are designed for high crowd usage a) More separate seats like buses b) A merge of second sitting design and bus design to have separate seat to accommodate more people. They can sleep by sitting also. If separate seat not possible then second sitting design or EMU design needed for unreserved coaches for more sitting & standing space c) If there are 4 unreserved coaches in a train make one compartment in this model with more sitting space like bus d) This will help more unreserved passengers to sit easily and capacity increases e) The current design of unreserved coaches with long horizontal seats like sleeper berths with space above for luggage doesn’t help in number of passengers sitting since it occupies more space. Currently no space to stand also

In partially electrified routes, DEMU trains can be run in following routes non stop like suburban. Example: Villupuram(VM) – Thiruvannamalai(TNM), Trichy(TPJ) – Mayiladuthurai( MV) in short trips

Increase stoppage time at tambaram (TBM) station to 4 minutes since hundreds of passengers need to get on board. The 2 minutes extra can be covered by trains by the stretch from Chennai Egmore to tambaram and also after tambaram also. But current 2 minutes is not enough. People feel that railways wastes time in crossing at signals but when people need to get on train they don’t give sufficient stoppage time and cover in journey time by increase in speed of 10kmph

Please change tatkal system to book 3 days before itself. Current 1 day before leads to lot of anxiety whether we will get ticket or not. If some very important meeting is there then people tend to suffer as their plans go hay wire. A long distance traveller who travels more than 600 kms tends to be benefitted since once he gets down he may need to get return ticket by tatkal to return. So 3 days will be optimal for short(starts on Friday/Saturday and returns on Sunday) and long distance to plan.

To stop menace in EQ quota for both Railway staff and other Govt staff. All EQ tickets must be charged only at tatkal fare. The difference of fare between booked ticket charge and tatkal must be taken by TT.
Railways must also consider allotting 4 seats per coach for premium fare(premium tatkal) in 3 A/C with booking starting before 14 days with base fare as tatkal ticket. The tickets which are not sold can be added to tatkal quota by system on day before. There is huge demand for 3A/C but Railways if gives tickets in premium rate in normal trains also it will be hit for those who can afford. 14 days was by best calculation with scenarios.

The doors in A/C compartments must be made sliding doors since current system is causing difficulty to passengers to sleep. Since in the each end of compartment the doors hit the legs of sleeping passengers leading to very high uneasiness to sleep. This needs to be corrected to sliding doors so that the passengers inside are not affected at any cost. It feels like we have done a sin by booking A/C ticket since people keep entering and going near door. The sliding door with automatic shutting will help. The current system of door opening around hinges hits the legs of sleeping passengers the full night sleep is lost. Sleep is more valuable than the A/C ticket. Ask ICF, Kapurthala and Bhopal factory to redesign coaches.

Ponmalai Railway workshop in Trichy, TamilNadu has experience in building/maintaining coaches/compartments. Hence the space available with Railways is plenty to convert it as a Railway Coach maintenance yard cum manufacturing yard. The ponmalai workshop has record for building highest number of freight wagons more than 1000 per year. Their hard work and perfect delivery of goods is an easy choice to make it as a coach manufacturing hub. The need for coaches is increasing daily. If the project is given ok, it should be automated entirely by Siemens and other robotic arms to build coaches in record time. Compared to the demand for coaches the Railways produces very less. And the current govt has not been successfully in running any new trains in ordinary fares. So that is a very big minus till now. So more coaches will ease pressure to run more trains. Even though we have lot of time available for efficient track usage the lack of coaches if a big minus to the growing population.

There is huge demand for 2A/C as more people came out of middle class. But Railways keeps adding only 3A/C which is very cramped and lacks facilities compared to 2A/C. The 2A/C coaches would have made Railways a cash rich organisation but poor strategy by Railway board led to such a situation of targeting the sleeper class fares. Have a target of adding one 2A/C coach in key trains which have very high demand.
Please allot senior citizens quota for A/C chair car and second class sitting in all the type of trains (Duronto, Shatabdi, Rajdhani) and all reserved coaches in passenger trains.

Need for more trains between Mumbai to Shirdi and Pune to Shirdi. The  number of trains are very less in this high demand route in spite of high tourist visit daily. How Railways purposefully ignored the tourist and religious route is astonishing. Please deploy more trains with daily twice on all days. People from other parts of the country can use them after reaching Mumbai.

Railways must take up social welfare causes a) Using IRCTC portal to take donations for various agencies and during floods/emergencies to distribute directly by collecting through IRCTC portal by giving details of address to courier so that Railways can dispatch directly by Coordinating with Central Govt & State Govt b) Many beggars are present in the suburban trains daily. Even transgender behave badly and force public to shell out money for them. Govt must work out strategy to rehabilitate them by giving work in Railways like selling products, cleaning stations. This Is a possible fix. Also working with NGO in each state to work out a solution for this issue. Children begging is an offence but Railways space like platform, stations and trains used for begging must be seen very seriously. Railways must work with multi agencies like UN, NGO, State Govt, RPF to rehabilitate children in schools, adults or parents of those begging children in work of Railways as contract work.

Passenger train no 56860 from Villupuram (VM) to Tambaram (TBM) remains unutilised for more than 10 hours in TBM in day time. The train can be instead used to run between TBM to TPTY(Thirupathi) as express passenger via Gudur. The loss to Railways due to under utilisation can be avoided.
