Indian Film Industry – Subtitles, Dubbing, Censorship, Tax Avoidance, Security – Part 2

Indian movies are becoming famous all over the world but our Indian movies release outside India don’t have subtitles in their releases. So many foreign audience avoid our Indian cinema. If govt can setup institutes to help for subtitles/ dubbing for movies at best price will help. Subtitles are required for foreign institutions to support us for bigger awards and recognise talent and understand India.
Dubbing of Indian regional language movies to foreign languages like English, Chinese, Korean and French will give us a big reach. The above institute setup should enable dubbing of movies in both foreign and Indian languages to maximise earnings from movies and earn FOREX.
The payment of salaries of technicians, film industry actors must be brought under banking system to overcome tax loopholes. Some of the producers pay half salary in cheque and remaining as gifts like cars, house or bungalows to enable  overcoming taxation or foreign trips to actors. So a separate tax and intelligence wing must be formed to monitor producers who use bad techniques to overcome taxation. Some of them make movies and don’t release or make just few theatres release purposefully to report loss and overcome taxation. Out of the number of movies many don’t release due to various reasons some of them don’t release purposefully to report losses. Lot of hawala trade happens in movie business. Hence govt must form a financial intelligence agency, cb-cid, tax authorities to constantly monitor film industry.
Some movies release with U/A and children of very small age come and watch the movies. Police are not placed near movie entrance to request parents to take their children back home as even small scenes with A grade will affect the children in significant way. If u/a then theatre owners must be strictly instructed to not allow children of age less than the limit mentioned by censors. A small technique can be followed by ticket booking agents to get age details of people who will watch the movie to prevent black ticket sales and also the online booking website can prevent booking if a U/A movie is going to be watched by children. So online booking process change, theatre owners and police must take steps. Some A rated movies for too much violence are being watched by children which is not healthy sign.
License for movie theatres around India must have some general procedures to prevent interference by state govt. The emergency exits, safety measures like fire extinguisher, water sprayers must be requested to put up before approval. Malls create cramped exits for cinema theatres.
Security checks at movie theatres must be setup up by scanning bags and x-ray device scanning with hand held devices to prevent bomb threat issues in future and pass through metal detectors to enable better security. Many theatres are being very casual about security and fire threat
Service tax or extra charges put on online ticket booking will help bring lot of tax revenue for government.
Currently TamilNadu Govt restricts price of tickets but theatres and movies are not able to recover the cost of movie. Hence theatres must be allowed to fix rates or increased at 6% year on year to include inflation cost. IMAX cinema technology not present in TN due to low ticket cost
