Tamil Nadu Govt Requests

1. Amma unavagam must be opened in all district bus stands. The bus stands are the key transit points in the state between the district headquarters and other regions. Example: thanjavur bus stand both old and new. The ratio of amma unavagam in chennai is far higher compared to rural areas and other districts. The number of amma unavagam must increase
2. Reforms in education sector:
a) Complete bio metrics of govt schools for staff (compulsory) and students.
b) CCTV cameras in govt schools in cooking, eating areas, classrooms and general areas to see and monitor activities remotely. CCTV will help prevent many issues and remote monitoring
b) High attendance in some govt schools will indicate good work by staff easily and availability of good transport facilities for students. If there is lack of attendance or delays then govt can take steps in various dimensions to improve transport to that area, staff can be provided houses nearby for remote areas
c) The biometrics must not be used initially to target govt staff for minor delays in coming to work but to understand the reasons first and trying to fix them.
d) Biometrics will help remote monitoring of issues and fixing faster. Some times staff in chennai never know the issues faced in remote areas and villages by staff
3. Govt schools in remote areas must be given video conferencing facilities to interact with top level education departments in Chennai to improve various parameters devised by Chennai head office and tn govt. The areas to improve must be devised and worked continuously through video conferencing to improve areas and overall education profile. in fact education minister must sit and try to understand the ground level issues patiently
4. Electric and Hybrid buses must be ordered by TN govt under international tendering for 150 numbers a combination of both AC and NON AC buses. This will help reduce pollution in Chennai and suburbs and other districts which are facing huge pollution problems. The pollution menace can be reduced and the cost of operation of MTC will come down in medium and long term. Since the cost of recharging with electricity is much cheaper. The tendering process must indicate that charging facilities must be provided in Govt bus depots and ease of use and in maintenance areas of govt bus stands. Govt must analyze by visits to places like shenzhen, china and USA and europe or ask them to come and present their view points on using different buses for public transport and reduce pollution and reduce cost of travel
5. Number of school uniforms if possible must be increased to 2 sets per year. The students if they wear same set for full year it gets torn. Govt students face a lot of difficulty.
6. TN govt must see ways to give away free electric or hybrid autos to promote use of electric autos in cities and town. Leading a way towards a green society and in turn will build ecosystem of electric vehicles in bikes, cars, etc,. Currently electric vehicles are almost 0.1% of total vehicles or less. So TN govt must take urgent steps like reducing taxes to zero.
7. TN govt must focus on introducing free breakfast to govt school students.
8. Availability of PC and laptop in schools with separate lab will go a long way. All students getting access to PC will pave way for more development.
9. No TN Govt minister is available in social networking sites like facebook and twitter to escalate maters. The delay in escalation will lead to issues later. Social networks have 2 things. The speed at which a matter is resolved it will give good name. Also the negative is many might send wrong infor at times or troll for various reasons. But if someone can be patient and review once in a while it will help in long run for both people and the minister and the govt to grow to next level. Otherwise the minister will never know the issue at ground level.
10. Promoting of cooptex brand by newspaper and online ads and referral program.
